Department of Animal Husbandry Kashmir is headed by the Director, with its
Directorate located at Red Cross Road, Gawkadal Srinagar.
In addition the
department has three Joint Directorates of
Poultry cum LPP (at Hariparbat, Srinagar), Research/IAH&BP (at Zakura, Srinagar) and
Frozen Semen
Project
(at Ranbirbagh, Ganderbal).
The field cadres of the
department are integrated with the Directorate through the respective Chief
Animal Husbandry Officers/Dy. Directors of the organisations.
