The Directorate of Animal Husbandry Kashmir is pleased to inform general public that locally reared, safe & wholesome chicken dressed under most hygienic conditions is being made available for occasions like marriage ceremonies, birthday parties, family get together etc. at very reasonable rates. The bulk orders need be placed with us 24 to 48 hours in advance. Home delivery facility is also available for the convenience of our valuable customers within limits of Srinagar district.
Hotels, restaurants and other institutional buyers are also encouraged to obtain birds from the Department to allay public concerns over origins of the slaughtered birds. Such institutions shall be provided with certificates to the effect that their menus contain healthy, hygienic and properly slaughtered & dressed birds.
