Director Animal Husbandry Department Kashmir, Ms. Purnima Mittal (KAS), chaired the Departmental Promotion Committee meeting at Directorate of Animal Husbandry Department-Srinagar on 31st October, 2020 for promotion of para-veterinary and ministerial staff of the department.

The meeting was attended by Joint Director, Frozen Semen Project, Dr Ghulam Rasool Beigh (Co-opted member), Joint Director Poultry, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Shah (Co-opted member), Deputy Director(Central), Dr Ghulam Ahmad Lone (Member Secretary) and Under-secretary to Government -ASH, Mr. Nissar Ahmad Wani.

‘A long pending demand of the staff of the Animal Husbandry Department for a grant of promotion to eligible members has been addressed’, said Dir ADH Kashmir. 'In the marathon meeting, a total of 239 promotion cases of different cadres like Dairy Supervisors, Assistant Veterinary Officers, and Senior Veterinary Pharmacists etc were cleared', she added.

Meanwhile, the para-veterinary and ministerial staff of the department have expressed gratitude to the worthy director for the timely clearance of pending DPCs.
