TODAY IS WORLD VETERINARY DAY.
The theme of World Veterinary Day 2019, is “Value of Vaccination”.
On the occasion Animal Husbandry Department Kashmir extends its wishes to all those whose lives are touched by our dumb friends in one way or the other.
On this day a Mass Vaccination Drive is being undertaken in all districts of the valley. The Drive will be inaugurated by Ms. Purnima Mittal (KAS) worthy Director Animal Husbandry Kashmir at Batapora (Hazratbal) with formal launch of first round of FMD-CP vaccination for cattle. Later in the day ARV, DHL, PPi, RKD etc. vaccination at Central Veterinary Hospital Srinagar (Gaw Kadal) for small animals will be conducted.
An interactive program at main hall of the Directorate at Gaw Kadal is also scheduled at 2.30 PM.
